Thankfully, Mike and I have no medical conditions that prevent us from shoveling, and we were able to clear his car out to get to work (4-wheel drive required!), and I was even able to relieve the night person at work to bridge until the day person could get there.
After work, we cleared the rest of the drive-- just a little exercise to get in shape for GARDENING SEASON!
I don't know about all of you, but my back is starting to hurt....
Mike said it might take awhile now for my crocuses to come up. They're under here:
But I say that white stuff is just a little extra insulation to keep them warm, and they're already probably starting to sprout.
Or maybe not.
Oh well. For now, garden, you sleep!
I'm just impressed you both made it to work. That's more ambitious than we were today!
ReplyDeleteCan you say epsom salt baths!?? Ha, I don't envy the fact that you had to shovel all that snow. Made for some spectacular shots tho! And don't worry, your crocuses will pop soon, I'm sure they are already past their REM stage of sleeping even!!
